Title- Will Grayson, Will Grayson

Author- John Green, David Levithan

Will Grayson meets Will Grayson. One cold night, in a most unlikely corner of Chicago, two strangers are about to cross paths. From that moment on, their world will collide and lives intertwine.

It’s not that far from Evanston to Naperville, but Chicago suburbanites Will Grayson and Will Grayson might as well live on different planets. When fate delivers them both to the same surprising crossroads, the Will Graysons find their lives overlapping and hurtling in new and unexpected directions. With a push from friends new and old – including the massive, and massively fabulous, Tiny Cooper, offensive lineman and musical theater auteur extraordinaire – Will and Will begin building toward respective romantic turns-of-heart and the epic production of history’s most awesome high school musical.

Rating: 3 out of 5.

This was again, kind of a ‘meh’ book.

Well, it had a bit of a slow start, and it was a lot boring, because there was a moment where I was going to DNF it. All I mean to say was that to read this book, you need patience, which I very much lack, and that resulted in a big turn-off.

Then, the characters. The characters were okay, more tilted in the positive side. I liked both the Will Graysons, how similar and not they were! And I really, really loved Tiny Cooper, he is too fun a guy!

The plot was GOOD! Like, I have to give it that, it was unique! I liked the turn of events, and I loved where and how and when both the Will Graysons met😂

You see, the only thing that made me continue this one, despite the slow start and meh characters, was the plot and the humour of the author that leaked in the book. The book was simply hilarious and sarcastic, and I really loved reading such a book! Oh, and don’t you think the book cover’s just l.o.v.e.l.y.? I do!

I have to say if you are looking for a hilarious book, and have patience, you would love this book!

Have you read the book? Did you like it? What were your thoughts? Let me know!

  1. Omg…. i totally had the same thoughts as you whilst reading this book. Kind of a ‘meh’ book, a bit boring and definitely made me laugh as I am also sarcastic. Couldn’t agree more with your post! Pretty much sums up the whole book.

    1. Yeah! I personally have read all of John Green’s books, and all of them, except for Turtles All The Way Down, have the same plots, dorky guy, mysterious girl, a mystery, and it gets boring now TBH, but then, the humour in the books is so good, that I can’t hate it!

      1. Oh and I wanted to ask, I think you have read Checkmate by Malorie Blackman? The thing is, I have that book and was planning to read it, but haven’t read the first two books, so do I absolutely have to read those two? Or can I start with Checkmate?😅

  2. Oh yeah! I have….. no you need to start from book one otherwise it won’t make any sense. Trust me you will love those books. They emotionally broke me 😭
Start from noughts and crosses! There’s also a series shows on the first book

      1. Trust me you will want to read this series. Otherwise, the spoilers will ruin the book for you!
Im surprised that you don’t like reading series, i cant breathe until i know what happens to the characters 😂🤣

      2. Ahh, I see, I’d pick it up soon, then!
And ah, that way series are good, you get know almost the whole life of characters, but the problem with them with me is that I like to finish books in one sitting, and series make it almost impossible which leads to me being cranky because I snap at every person who interrupts me🤣
