Just Some Bibliophilic Things #13! | Character Chat #2!

To those unaware, Just Some Bibliophilic Things was a weekly meme(It’s now a one-time tag) hosted by Riddhi @Whispering Stories!

This Week’s Question: How many more books are left for you to read in 2020? Enlist them.

Ha, well, I’m not really the one to follow a TBR, but I have a few books I want to finish in 2020 itself, here you go!

  1. The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett
  2. The Harmony Silk Factory by Tash Aw
  3. Staring At The Light by Frances Fyfield
  4. Checkmate by Malorie Blackman
  5. The Midnight Line by Lee Child
  6. Support and Defend by Mark Greaney
  7. The Memory Keeper’s Daughter by Kim Edwards
  8. The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson
  9. The Girl Who Played With Fire by Stieg Larsson

Now, yes I know they are quite a lot, and normally I would have been able to be done with them easily, but I’ve got my exams coming, so it’s quite hard, but hey, a girl can dream right?

Basically Character Chat is a weekly meme hosted by Rachel @A Bookworm’s Paradise, and if you haven’t already, do check her out, she’s amazing!

A character who would lighten up your mood even on your worst days?

There’s Louisa Clark from Me Before You series by Jojo Moyes, even though Lou has had her share of sad and dark moments (c’mon, Me Before You was a tragedy), I can’t help imagine her as silly, sweet and shining! Even though I am not that big a fan of those books, and I haven’t even read Still Me, the final book, I can’t deny the fact that I loved reading through Lou’s point of view! Then there’s also Xander from The Distance Between Us, and Trevor from Pivot Point series, and of course Peter Kavinsky and John Ambrose from To All The Boys series, and Jeremiah from The Summer I Turned Pretty series for all of them are just so SWEET! Then Kenji from Shatter Me series, I just love that guy, we relate too much, and his humour was amazing, definitely one to lighten my mood…huh, you know what? There are just too many and I’m not even halfway there! 😆

  2. YES I love Kenji so much! He’s definitely one of my favourite characters because he’s SO funny. But also his friendship with Juliette just–I’m soft for it!
