WWW Wednesday #1!

I’ve been wanting to do these since forever, and I’m so glad I’m finally doing them! Basically, WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @Taking On A World Of Words. Let’s do this!

What are you currently reading?

How To Pack For The End Of The World by Michelle Falkoff. Till now, it’s going good for me, I really like the writing style and the light tone, despite what the name suggests.

What did you recently finish?

Checkmate by Malorie Blackman. Okay, so here I made a big big mistake, I didn’t read the first two books, and just their summaries, I don’t know what possessed me, but trust me I’m regretting the decision, and I will definitely read the whole series later. Now, to the book, I LOVE IT. I really loved the setting, and I loved all the characters, like Tobey! And Callum, I loved him too. I loved the writing style, and I liked how the book floated between past and present, and let’s not talk about the end, it was perfect! I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t emotionally broken after reading it.

What you you think youโ€™ll read next?

Possibly The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett. I’ve heard a lot about it, plus I recently bought it, so.

How could you do that ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ฉ ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ
I hope the ending of the first book isnโ€™t ruined though. Love to hear your feedback on the rest of the books.
The books did emotionally drain me! Wait till you actually read noughts and crosses ๐Ÿฅบ

    1. I AM SO SORRY! I really don’t know why I picked it up, I just did!
And sadly, I know exactly what happens at the end of first book, but I don’t think it’s ruined exactly…
thank you! And yeah I get it! Half the book I was crying because — CALLUM!
And uh huh, I’d be picking the whole series back in January, after the exams!

    1. I am, wby?๐Ÿ˜‚
And yeah, I’ve read A Little Princess, and I absolutely love it! I guess it would be one classic that I have successfully read in one-sitting and love! I have exactly the same hopes for Secret Garden!
